High-quality enterprises are growing rapidly, and the industrial development environment continues to improve. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will accelerate the breakthrough of the entire chain of industrial mother machines in key research, manufacturing, and application, and contribute to the construction of a strong manufacturing country. Deputy Director Wang Hong affirmed the achievements of the China Machine Tool Industry Association in promoting the development of industrial mother machine industry, building a platform for industry-university-research-application, and conducting international exchanges and cooperation in recent years. In order to further implement the requirements of supporting the application and verification of domestic high-end CNC machine tools in key use areas, this meeting specially invited two user representatives to exchange views on key area needs and application verification. At the meeting, Mao Yufeng, executive vice president and secretary-general of the association, made the "2024 Annual Work Report of China Machine Tool Industry Association", which started from three aspects: the main work completed in 2024, the shortcomings and problems, and the key points of work in 2025. The content covers organizing investigations and research to support government decision-making, participating in related work to support major national science and technology projects, building a supply and demand docking platform, promoting the integration and development of upstream and downstream, deepening publicity in multiple forms and dimensions to improve corporate visibility, strengthening standard guidance, promoting industry development, enhancing international exchanges and cooperation, helping industry enterprises to expand the international market, promoting the association's own construction, and improving the ability and level of "providing services". Wang Liming, Executive Vice President of the Association, introduced the preparations for the 19th China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT2025), and the many problems in coordination and organization faced by the first use of two exhibition halls. At the same time, he said that with the strong support of governments at all levels and relevant institutions, the organizer China Machine Tool Industry Association will work with partners and exhibitors to overcome difficulties and challenges and strive to make CIMT2025 a higher-level and more international professional machine tool exhibition.
Guo Changcheng, Executive Vice President of the Association, made the "2024 Machine Tool Industry Economic Operation Report", using detailed data to analyze the basic situation of machine tool industry production, consumption, profit, import and export from January to November 2024. Combined with the global machine tool production and consumption, it summarized the current operation characteristics of the machine tool industry, analyzed the overall operation effect of China's machine tool industry in 2024, and made an estimate and outlook that China's machine tool market will remain cautiously optimistic and the overall operation of the industry will remain relatively stable in 2025.
The meeting reviewed and approved the association's 2024 annual work report and financial report, reviewed and approved the proposal to change the association's representative candidates for some rotating chairman and vice chairman units, reviewed and approved the association's spokesperson candidates, and the executive directors reviewed and approved the association's branch management methods and branch assessment methods.
