Intelligent manufacturing professional and technical level assessment was successfully held in Taiyuan

Recently, the first digital technology engineer in Shanxi - intelligent manufacturing professional and technical level assessment was successfully held in Taiyuan. The assessment was held at Taiyuan University of Science and Technology, organized by the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering, and technically supported by Wuhan Huazhong Numerical Control Co., Ltd. After being approved by the Shanxi Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the qualified students will be issued with the junior professional and technical level certificate for intelligent manufacturing engineering and technical personnel by the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering.

According to the "Implementation Measures for the Digital Technology Engineer Cultivation Project of Professional and Technical Talent Knowledge Update Project" issued by the General Office of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security (Renshe Hall [2021] No. 71) and the "Implementation Plan for the Shanxi Digital Technology Engineer Cultivation Project" issued by the Shanxi Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security (Jin Renshe Hall [2024] No. 27) and other documents, students who obtain the junior and intermediate digital technology engineer level certificates can be recognized as having the junior and intermediate engineer titles, and can be used as a condition for applying for a higher level title. Those who obtain the senior digital technology engineer level certificate can be used as an important condition for applying for a senior title.

The evaluation system of intelligent manufacturing engineering and technical personnel has attracted much attention from the industry since the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and other three ministries jointly released 16 new occupations such as intelligent manufacturing engineering and technical personnel on March 2, 2020. As an evaluation institution for intelligent manufacturing engineering and technical personnel, the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineers has invested a lot of resources in standard development, textbook and digital resource construction, assessment platform construction, assessment question bank improvement and teacher training, laying a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of the evaluation system.

In order to smoothly organize and carry out the training, Taiyuan University of Science and Technology, with the support of experts and professors from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, based on the technology and platform of Huazhong CNC, jointly carried out a series of training on intelligent manufacturing engineering technology equipment and production line application theory, common technology, equipment operation, digital model operation, etc. from December 13, 2024 to January 5, 2025.

As the organizer of this examination, the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineers carefully organized the examination process to ensure the seriousness and fairness of the examination. Wuhan Huazhong CNC Co., Ltd. has high-end technologies and diversified product systems related to CNC, robots and intelligent manufacturing in the field of intelligent manufacturing, which provides strong hardware and software support and technical guarantee for this exam.

The content of this assessment covers many aspects such as common technologies of intelligent manufacturing, intelligent equipment and production line applications, aiming to comprehensively examine the professional knowledge and practical ability of candidates. Candidates will demonstrate their professional quality and technical level in the field of intelligent manufacturing through two links: theoretical knowledge assessment and professional ability assessment.

The smooth progress of this exam provides candidates with opportunities to enrich their knowledge and improve their technology, and will also provide more high-level digital technology engineers for the intelligent manufacturing industry.
